Does it work? Please tell me that this is not the last of this story. I know that you like short and sweet - I do too... but this demands something in return. Another short - what happens to the Warlord as he realizes that somewhere Draco is still alive? What happens to Draco as he realizes what a bereft Harry becomes? *sigh... I like this concept.

Author's Response: Nope, no vampires in this one :). I'm afraid this one will never be any longer. It was one of the first HP fics I ever wrote and those particular muses have been silent a long time.

I've come back to this story at least 4 different times. Each time I've reread it, it still strikes an emotional chord. I'm adding my voice to the chant for a sequel!! Tell those bunnies to start jumpin'!
Seriously - this story is one of the most different yet enjoyable ones I've read - although your corruption series is incredible.
Author's Response: Thank you. This was my second ever HP fic (just after I hit the slippery slope that is H/D ::g::). It has never inspired me to write more I'm afraid, but you never know with my brain, so I haven't written it off completely. Thanks again.

That's so sad! Harry would never do that, especially to his best friend.
Author's Response: Ah, but this Harry has had everything taken away and it finally broke him. The Harry we know would never do what the Warlord did, but Tom Riddle started somewhere to become Voldemort, and Harry could do the same if he was pushed too far.

Great story. I hope you consider writing a small sequal or at least something where we see the reaction of the Order to what Ron had just told them.
