I read this fic a while ago and it really stuck with me. I found that while reading it I was imersed in the gloom of their world, but just as the gold saved magic, it was also a beacon of light, that whole 'glimmer of hope' thing. A very powerful story and wonderfully written.

Awwwww. That is so sweet. AGH! Leprechauns! The first time I ever saw Warwick Davis was in one of the Leprechaun movies. Unfortunately, I was too young when I watched it, and to this day, I am terrified of WD. If I ever saw him with in a ten foot radius, I think I would run away screaming!

Absolutely beatiful. Sad, right from the beginning. But towards the end, it's like smiling through tears, and then everythings alright again. Reminded me a bit of waking up from a weird, slightly creepy dream. (Am I making any sense? If not, I blame it on the lack of sleep and too much caffeine... x)

Oh, this was sweet. While Harry Potter stuff has never struck me as an apocalyptic story, I thought that you did it justice. I admit that I'm a bit of a sucker for a happy ending, and this really did manage it. We sort of know Neville, but only some sides of him, so it's hard to put his character into a passionate/sexual context, but I think you did a pretty good job. Apart from me thinking that Harry probably isn't gay in the books, I liked his characterisation too. You certainly did a very good job with Snape.
