this was very beautiful. Are you going to write more, or is this a one shot? I've never visited this archive before, so...I am not sure of the territory. You handled a delicate situation very well.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I always consider it a phenomenal compliment when those who aren't normally interested in the subject of one of my fics enjoys it anyway.
This one is a one-shot and I don't foresee following it up. It was actually written as a challenge fic for an LJ community.
Thank you again for your comments, and as you're looking around the archive, I hope you stumble onto some of the other gems. (A note-- Snegurochka and Rosedemon are the authors who lured me into this site ;) )

Beautiful story. Is there a sequel? I'd like one. "I want you to want me," Severus said softly, placing a gentle kiss on Remus' temple. "I want you to love me the way you don't realize that I love you. But I don't want to wonder if you say it because you want me to brew that damn potion for you. I'm going to brew the potion every month, whether you ask it or not. I'd do anything to make this transformation easier for you, but there isn't much I can do, is there?" I love that part and I love the repetition pattern. It makes the story really interesting.
Author's Response: We'll see about a sequel. Right now there are some people who will kill me if I start another WiP before I at least get a round of updates off on each of the ones I have going. My muse and I discussed this, and she has reluctantly agreed to concentrate on finishing stories, and as a reward, I promised her that we can do whatever she likes after I get my number of WiPs back to a reasonable level.

So is there some evil conspiracy between you and Snegurochka to make me like Dark!Snupin? I liked this story in spite of the fact that I prefer happy endings. I really liked the way both men counted the steps to their doom. The more Snupin I read, the more I become convinced that these two could be at the very least friends if they would just get over their past. Thanks for sharing!
