Wow! I once said that a really good author could make me believe just about anything. So when Subversa listed this as one of her favorites in the LJ community fangirl_tour, I took her up on it. Here was one of my favorite authors suggesting an outrageous pairing written by another of my favorite authors. It was time to test my theory. All I can say is the theory is proven. You wrote a delightful, touching, heartwarming story about a pairing I never thought in my wildest dreams would ever work. I not only believed it, I lived it. You made me laugh and smile and cry along with them. Beautiful work. I thank you for making me believe in the impossible. PS Please do me a favor and never write Severus/Sirius because I really, really don't ever want to believe in that!

Oh my word, you have stolen my heart with this unusual, and as you said aptly, unlikely, pairing. I love how their relationship begins; it is so unlike many other fictions simply because the draw between the characters is not a reaction to an extraordinary event, but an extraordinary reaction to a plausible situation. The focus here; Ron and Severus's capacity for emotional and sexual depth, stole the stage. I also enjoyed your characterization of Harry, as random as that seems; he is so often painted as this crazed, unsteady adolescent, unable to handle certain situations with understanding. I've always felt that so many writers forget the true narrator of the HP novels, and hence, fail to realize his intelligence or insight, or capacity for understanding other's abnormal situations. Thank you once more for a brilliant read!

I'm not generally a fan of slash...and when I do read it, I usually prefer the Snape/Lupin pairing. I started this fic because I saw it recommended, so I decided to give it a peek. I'm glad I did. It was lovely. It was full of warmth, love, and compassion and it brought me to tears in several places. Bravo to you for daring to explore this unusual pairing and for doing such a marvelous job with it.

(I'm a bit of a Snupin fan myself) I started this fic as a dare, NSS and Tarah Fae were saying that this would be a very hard pairing to do believably. Once I started it, I was sucked right in. Severus Weasley, heh that's funny. I really enjoyed this story. For some reason Illusions has not updated my drawing for this yet :/ Oh well.
The evolution of Severus' character was great. At the begining it was like he was captive to his own morose thoughts and someone opened the door to let some light it as the story progressed. I'm sad it's over. Please write another Sneasley sometime :)

ah, Pook, you moved me to tears when Minerva was telling Severus how very much Albus loved him. I still have tears on my cheeks. I think you caught his emotion, and conveyed it to the reader, very well indeed. I'm glad I was right with my guess, but even I had not imagined there would be so much given to them. It's like a fairytale, but certainly no more than 2 sacrificing war heroes deserve. I look forward to the epilogue!
