That was an excellent fic. I found the budding relationship of Snape and Lupin to be realistic and unforced. I also liked how you managed to keep them in cahracter and very 'male' while still pursuing a homosexual relationship. That doesn't typically happen in fan fic, whether it's lack of knowledge of how two men behave together, or just common opinions I don't know, but it was nice to see this different approach.

This is a remarkable start to this pairing. I love that youa re able to keep them so fully in character. I'm not usually a big slash reader but I saw this mentioned on a Yahoo group and the description (whether by you or the reccer, I don't know) had me intrigued. I look forward to reading the rest.

I just found this recently and I love it. Beautiful. I love how you put them together. You don't rush it at all. It would be very nice if you were to finish it, but I do understand how hard it is to continue something you abandoned long ago. Just know that you gained a fan.

Again, I had to stop and leave a comment. My heart nearly BROKE at the end of this chapter. I can understand that Severus is reluctant to trust...and that he fears the vulnerability that comes with letting someone into your heart, but damn it! I want to throttle him for being so stubborn! This story is so achingly well-written. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know where to begin. I love the way you got into Snape's mind as he verbalised his reasonings - and all Lupin could do was sit and stare. Classic. I loved Snape's argument with Sirius on the stairs,I can just imagine the noise!! Interesting that Dumbledore saw them - I'd have thought that Severus, being the spy that he is, would have been a little more on-the-ball there, and I figured that he'd have much to say about the 'relationship'. Ya have to admit, it's a pretty bad time for such a thing to happen, which makes it even MORE exciting! ;o) Looking forward to the next chappie!

Author's Response: Thanks. I had so much fun writing that scene. I cut it three times because I thought it was pushing things a little too far, but it was too dang fun so I kept putting it back in. I'm glad you liked it!

I can't believe that nobody has reviewed this chapter yet, so let me just say ... that kiss ... was as hot as some sex scenes that I've read! Not for the reasons one might think, after all, it WAS just a kiss, but having been soooo long in the making, after both of them going through so much to get to that point ... well .. I thought it was perfect!

Author's Response: Yes, I'll continue it. I just have a bad habit of forgetting that I haven't updated. I get busy and the next thing I know, it's been two weeks (or a month) since I loaded a chapter. Feel free to poke me a reminder if I let it go.
