So far so good. The only problem I have with this is that in canon, Veritaserum doesn't work like this. We know that Harry made it correctly, and if this were true to canon, Draco would have to have answered truthfully without any hesitation, hedging, or questions like "What does it matter?" I'm going to read on to see what happens from here.

Yes, you're correct, of course, although I have seen fics where people on Veritaserum can fudge their answers a bit depending on how the question is posed, but you are quite right. I suppose I have to claim artistic license. *g*

I found myself really enjoying this story. It had just enough mystery to keep you trying to sort out any little clues given with a big dose of romance which I like.
I also loved how even though Ron's actions were ultimately driven by the Imperius, there were still some of his own jealousy and insecurity that directed how he played out the plans given to him. A very nice touch.

It was hard to sacrifice Harry's wand, I'll admit, *sigh* but it seemed to fit, and I gave him one back, so I think it worked out. I did like the symmetry.
I have some follow ups to this that I'm working on because, if you think you're going into withdrawal from the fic, I'm going into withdrawal from your cool comments! I can't tell you how I look forward to them. *g*
