I like this pairing, and it's certainly an unsual one!
I really think this story could do with a 'Two years on..' chapter! Not necassarily smutty (well not to much!) but a conclusion to that unresolved sexual tension. Obviously it would have to be AU but that is not a bad thing! Let me know if you write one!
Author's Response: Hoo, boy...hmmm. I've never written an AU. I suppose maybe after Voldy's gone, someone in the Dept. of Mysteries could figure out how to pull Sirius out of that...thingee...maybe years and years later, when Harry is older than Sirius...OMG Teh Funneh...maybe the Veil will expose Sirius to anti-time, so HE comes out 15 and now Harry is 25...BWAHAHAHA! And look, now I don't even need to write it, you can just use your imagination. Score! ;)

I almost put 9, but only because I wanted more. I love this Sirius, who is trying so hard to do the right thing. The ending is perfect.

Oh, that was sweet. I'd never thought of the whole Pureblood/Mudblood thing that way. It makes sense. I'm a huge Remus/Sirius fan, so you had me there. Excellent little chat between the two. At first I was reluctant to read since it said Harry/Sirius, but I'm glad I did. Your characterizations were brilliant. Nice job.
Author's Response: Thanks! A lot of people seem to get squicked out by the Harry/Sirius thing. It was just the best vehicle for the whole Pure/Mud stuff to come out. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
