I absolutely loved it. Your characterizations were spot on, and the scenario was incredibly believable and realistic. I also like that you added a bit of wit and humour in there, that really adds to it. Down to the last little detail, I found the story extremely engaging, you should be so proud of yourself. By the way, the ending was beautiful . . . it is so typical of a loving couple to interact that way.
