Wow! This is something I've never seen in a fanfic before. Short of squid-Hedwig-Dobby orgies, it's just about impossible to do new things, or so it seems. And some new things, like the aforementioned orgy, really shouldn't be done. This, however, was great. I liked it, how they echoed, broke apart, put back together. Very cool, and kinda hot, and it worked.

Absolutely brilliant and superbly written! The format was excellent to this fic, it showed so well their single thoughts and actions as well as their joined ones. Very much a shiny ball of hope wrapped in a dark, cold, bitter cloak. I loved it!! And the pairing is so lovely, because it`s not out-used and I think Perce and Severus is exquisite together ;-) Thanks!!

I'm repeating the review I left on LJ when this first posted to HP Springsmut:
I'm stunned. First, I was wary of the format until I started to read. What an effective and original way to display two consciousnesses at once--especially effective in showing the points where they diverged and the ones where they eerily and poignantly converged. And the pairing--where they came from, what they lack, what they long for--you showed it all so well in this little grouping of paragraphs. This is one of the most amazing things I've read in a while. I'm not just bookmarking it--I'm saving it. Excellent...most excellent!
