There is nothing HOTTER than Severus and Lucius. Deliciously written!

A younger Lucius “sponsors” Severus into the Death Eaters, teaching him the value of submission. This ficlet is canon to the same alternate world as For Someone Special (FSS, which can be viewed over at RestrictedSection.org under this same pen-name).

Delicious, and very intricate with power struggle. I very much enjoyed.

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. This was definitely a descent into the twisted logic that ties the philosophies behind power-struggles and minion-rankings with BDSM tendencies. The power to be had in submissive actions versus dominant ones...most people don't realize a submissive has actual control in a BDSM relationship, because most people don't realize the first tenet of leadership (aka power over others). Leaders lead only by the consent of others, whether it's active or passive (apathetic) consent. When someone doesn't consent to be ruled, it's very hard to be their ruler. Conversely, if you don't consent to follow someone, you will never be a follower, and never be able to borrow that other person's fame for yourself... Eh, I'm waxing philosophical over a PWP. Go figure... ~Lotm
