Man delights not me; no, nor woman neither, though by your smiling you seem to say so.

Wonderful story! It's always nice to watch the process of Harry and Draco actually falling in love, instead of just a pornographic one-shot, and you did a particularly good job of it. Some of your dialogue had me falling out of my chair laughing. I have to admit, though, that I found the ending a bit abrupt and anticlimactic.

Author's Response: Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the story. :D Some people did feel the ending was a bit abrupt, and I do have an optional epilogue here (http://www.the-archive.net/viewstory.php?sid=2767&i=1), but to warn you, it really is just info dumb and not very good. XD

Ron knows two things without a shadow of a doubt: Malfoy is an evil prick. And Harry? Harry is gay.

This is just beautiful. *Hilarious!* I love the way you write dialogue -- it's very much like what I aim for when I make the occasional feeble attempt at writing. I'd love to know what happens when Harry runs into Draco again...

Wow. This story is not at all what I expected from the description. I'm enjoying it so far -- Harry's assumed identity puts a neat twist on things, and the presence of the kids also shakes things up a bit. Very interesting!

While 'Marc' was explaining why he became an auror, I couldn't help thinking of a very old friend of mine who had a notorious problem with authority who unexpectedly walked away from his whole life to move cross-country and join the LAPD. When I asked why, he grinned at me and drawled, "I figure I can work some great scams." (He was joking. Honest!) Anyway, that made me smile.

I do wish you'd showed us more of Harry's thought process regarding Blaise, Draco, and his current situation. He took on the assignment pretty easily considering what was being asked of him -- doesn't it bother him? If not, why not? Is he self-destructively reckless? Disillusioned and apathetic? Just plain horny? Did he have the hots for Blaise in school?

In the same vein, I wonder if he wouldn't be a bit warier of Blaise, considering his past. And if I were Blaise, I'd be thrown off balance a bit by this hot young auror who apparently has no problem jumping straight into bed with a former Death Eater, whether he's attempting to redeem himself or not. Especially since I got the impression in the first chapter that the Ministry thinks Blaise is only doing it for the sake of his image. (Or maybe I just imagined that part.) I also wonder how Blaise really feels about betraying his former comrades (including, possibly, Draco?), and how that might affect the way he relates to 'Marc'.

Sorry to blather on and on like this -- you can tell the story's captured my imagination, because I'm already obsessing about the possibilities. Please do continue! (And by all means, write more sex scenes. I'm sure no one will mind... ;> )

Author's Response:
I hate to pull out the wait and see, but... There were a lot of clues handed out in the first chapter, and they will be revealed later on. The piece is actually finished, and I'm posting it here a chap every few days. So, I'll try to answer your questions, one at a time

I intended the scene with 'Marc' as a humourous one, so I'm glad you got the humour. I've law enforcement in the family, and some of the things they said...

Harry will show more of what he's thinking in the next few chapters. The assignment doesn't bother him, actually, because of his past. Remember, Harry's pretty used to just going with the flow, and having an authority figure (that he trusts) guide his movements. In this case, Bones has replaced DD. As far as having the hots for Blaise, it was more of "I haven't had any in a while, here he is, and he's offering, what the hell." Notice he used protection spells, so he's not emotionally invested in Blaise at all.

He is wary of Blaise, and as far as Blaise goes... I can't say much, without giving things away. But he's not as unaware as he seems, and he has his own agenda, and a reason to welcome 'Marc' eagerly.

I really appreciate the thoughtful review, and the questions. I enjoy talking about my stuff *blush*. Feel free to email me if you have any questions, of if you'd like more detail than I'm willing to go into here.

Yow, a turn for the darker. It'll be very interesting to see what Harry does when faced with the same kind of situation Snape faced years ago... I feel sorry for Blaise. First he was a whore for the Dark, now he's a whore for the Light... and obviously he's learned to recognize a good guy when he sees one. After what he's been through, it's no wonder he's falling hard for 'Marc'. This great guy just falls into his lap -- literally -- and essentially tells him he's just not good enough. I could, you know, comfort him. If he wanted. *cough* Great chapter. I look forward to the next one!

Author's Response: Blaise? Well, I've claimed him, but you can borrow him! *weg* Who wouldn't want Harry, in any form? The next chap should be up soon, and featured Harry, Draco, and chocolate... *yum* (Not that way, mind out of the gutter! *weg*) Thanks for the review!

Oh, MY. Poor Draco... or is it lucky Draco? I can't wait to find out.

Author's Response: I'm not sure if I'll continue this or not. I'm still on the fence. Thanks for the review!

Oh, Ron's never going to let him live this one down...

Author's Response: thanks for the review :) lol.. well Ron is a bit of a grown up in this story.. having spent so much time with Hermione and all that.. so Harry doesn't get too much grief.
