very clever. A big punch in a tiny package. Thanks for sharing this sad tale. One of the previous reviewers thought Snape might well die like that in the 7th book. I think that Snape is going to die in the 7th book and then be vindicated.
*sniffle* That made me cry... so sad, yet you did it in such a short amount of words! I bow to you! *goes to comfort Remus*
So sad and so poignant, and in so few words! *salutes*
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you thought it was good :)
Mmmm, Snupin. What? Oh, right: Harry. Very original take, using the POV of someone outside the relationship, not noticing what should have been right in front of his eyes. Oh, poor Remus. *pets him* :) ~Lee
Author's Response: *pets Remus as well*
Glad you liked it.
Wow! You managed to say a lot in such a short short story. I fear Snape will meet a similar end in canon, possibly at Harry's hand, and will be just a little mourned.
Author's Response: Thank you. I hold little hope for Snape having a nice end in a canon as well :(
Snape could easily die in a similar manner in JKR's canon....
I'm going to have a good cry now....
Author's Response: I think it's very likely. Sorry for making you sad :(
I love this little ficlet. But I don't understand the last line: "He told himself it was betrayal, there had been no redemption, and tried to believe it."
Author's Response: This refers to Harry trying to convince himself Remus being with Snape was a sort of betrayal and Snape dying to save him had not redeemed him. Sorry you didn't get that, but it's hard to make things clear when trying to stick to 200 wordsw. Glad you liked it anyway!
Well done! Such a lot in such a small number of words - great imagery.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
Harry is such a spoilt little brat who thinks in such a childish black and white manner. Poor Remus having to mourn in private with no-one to talk to.
Author's Response: I agree Harry can be like that and wish Remus wasn't always the one left to mourn alone :(
