I... I'm almost speechless! This fic, just *all of it*, is Great! When I started to read it, I was just thrilled to see the new idea about Harry being raised by a basilisk. I am waiting with trembling hands the moment when Tom comes to the forest...*dreamy expression* Thank you.

Very Good! Your plot is certainly original, and the story itself is very well-written. The only suggestion I might make is that the writing is somewhat abrupt. You do not provide many segue moments. It is not a big deal though.
