This was a beautiful story. I am the kind of slash-reader who only reads "C" rated stuff, I despise smut/porn or anything like it. So stories like this, that are just about what goes on in their minds, is perfect for me. I loved it. I can't wait to read the sequel! I only hope you keep it as "C" rated as this one...please?

This was a beautifully-crafted and sensitively-written exploration of the Snupin pairing. Unlike many other slash readers, I won't read stories that contain smut/detailed descriptions of overt sexual acts. Instead, I find stories that have more "mild" scenes far sexier, because they are seductive and leave more to the imagination - but, hey, that's just me. I'd love to read a sequel so this story gets some resolution, and I believe it could be done beautifully without degenerating into outright porn - you need not be drawn into that genre to write good slash! In any case, I loved this story - well done!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed. This was my very first venture into the Snape/Lupin pairing. (Or any other male/male pairing.) I find I am quite fascinated by the idea of Snape and Lupin together. They have such a history, after all. I have actually written a sequel, and am also working on a third installment. The sequel is called "Listening," and the third part is called, "Touching." I haven't posted because I'm waiting for the Sychophant web site to merge all their archives. I think the story will get more exposure on a combined web site than it will here on Eros & Sappho. I may even re-post "Watching" as a part of a "Trilogy of the Senses." Boy...have I rambled! How lovely! I adore the Snupin pairing, and this sums up their relationship perfectly! I, too, would love some resolution to this (that's the romantic in me, I suppose) but it does stand as a complete story now. *whispers* But don't you want to see them happy? Just a little? *nudge*
