The crusty piratical custodian was completely hysterical. I know this story can't end well, given what happens at the end of third year, and given the mildly prophetic nightmares our boy Severus is having, but it's hard to remember when he's yelling yes at Remus and no at Filch. You are out of control. (Of course I mean that in the nicest way possible.)
Author's Response: Hee! Thanks! I think this was my favourite chapter to write. Is it sad that I completely crack myself up? I wrote this a while ago, but I've been going through it to upload it to this archive, and I'm snickering as I'm editing my crappy punctuation. *sigh* Oh well, at least I'm a cheap date!

Brilliant story, but you do realize that in Harry's third year Severus never got summoned? From the way Voldemort speaks to his followers after his rebirth, we know he hasn't summoned them since he disappeared.
Apart from that little slip up, I love this story. Are there any more staff-games on the way?

As for the summoning, I know there is nothing in the books about DeathEater meetings in book 3, but I assumed that they would probably still meet even without Voldie. You know, to discuss important matters like the new DE uniforms, car-pooling, who to sacrifice at the year-end meeting, etc. ;)
Yeah...artistic license! :D
And no, the staff games are over, but Remus and Severus have a few games of their own planned! :D I hope you enjoy!

I just started reading this story, and I must say I love it! This chapter has by far been my favorite. Dumbledore is such a perve! And That last line! Haha funny, I loved it even if I do feel a bit scared for Severus. I can't wait for your next update! Oh wait while I remember, where is the story you modeled this one after posted? I would love to read it! Well, great chapter, and this is overall a wonderful fic, I am really enjoying it.

It is intensely sweet how gradually the two men are having increasingly intimate sex. It's at once tender, like a teenager losing virginity, and fierce in all its adult hotness. Lupin must really like Snape. :-)
