This is such an exceptional story, I really regret reading that last sentence: "He walled off his passionate memories, deep in hs heart, from whence they'd never again make an appearance." Too bad--those feelings were so deep--especially with the "glimmer of interest sparked in his eyes, then was gone just as quickly" true of Snape as well. If I could give you "100" for this story, I would. Very well done indeed.
I am so proud to make this my very first favorite at E&S. Severus Snape has always struck me as a highly moral, nearly monastic character period. Here he is an older instructional brother in a medieval monastery. "Harry Potter" meets "In the Name of the Rose"--I love it! It could not be more perfect.
This is interesting. The battle rages in a different time with a different style, yet it is the same battle in the same shades of gray. I look forward to read more.
I like the idea of finding out about a live you have live and I am curious about where to you will go with this sorry and what Severus will say. PLEASE update soon.
